Ethan Maday is a student at Santa Barbara High School (Class of 2028) passionate about climate policy, politics, and the outdoors. He received the Next-Gen Environmental Hero Award from a local environmental law nonprofit for his leadership in opposing the restart of the Sable Oil platform. Ethan has delivered a keynote speech at a nonprofit gala, sharing his vision for a more sustainable future. He currently serves as President of his school’s environmental club, where he organizes youth-led events, campaigns, and advocacy efforts.
