Climate Quick Tip: Green your Greens and Avoid Food Waste

Fruits and vegetables make up a good deal of North America’s food waste —  the UN reports one billion tons of food are thrown out annually. Cut up fruit and veggies for ease when you’re not inclined to cook, or chop and freeze them for smoothies or to add to ice cream.

Avoid food waste by using the entirety of ingredients, storing food properly, ignoring expiration dates (use your senses!), and shopping your fridge.
