Dot suggests luxe cotton sheets for her eighth day of giftmas.
Dear Reader,
Dot is quite certain that the writer who penned The Night Before Christmas, wishing all a “good night,” didn’t sleep beside a later-in-life woman. As a menopausal Dot, I typically wake in the morning wishing to return to my bed, and retire only to lie awake throughout the night. I would gnaw off a crampy leg to achieve a good night’s sleep. For someone in Dot’s stage of life, “to all a good night” seems like a cruel tease, or at least utterly tone deaf.

But a sound slumber might be more likely on some lovely percale sheets by American Blossom Linens, a company that grows, mills, and produces its gorgeously luxe cotton sheets entirely in the good ol’ US of A. One set has a beautiful pinkish brown color, but is made with zero dye: The color comes entirely from an heirloom cotton varietal. How cool is that, Readers? And just think of it, fellow tossers and turners: fewer nighttime worries about microplastics from synthetic fiber sheets!
I anticipate sweet uninterrupted dreams of American Blossom Linens. Dot only hopes that a set finds its way to a spot beneath my tree (queen, with navy blue piping on white sheets, if you please).
Snoozily,
Dot
