Dedicated Brand Apparel

Sustainable Swedish streetwear brand Dedicated launched nearly 20 years ago, when its founders lamented the lack of truly eco-friendly fashion. They created a brand whose clothes are hip, affordable, and wearable: There’s something here for everyone, be it a plain regenerative cotton tee or simple linen shirt dress. Some items — novelty tees, corduroy jumpsuits, dresses with psychedelic prints — are great for younger shoppers, or the young at heart. Our top picks are both versatile and stylish: tees, sweaters, and dresses with beguiling patterns and charming embroidery. Anyone who loves biking will also find a plethora of bike-centric tees, sweaters, and sweatshirts. The brand’s extensive line even includes swimwear.

In addition to the fun and funky clothing, we love Dedicated Brand’s straightforward communication. Perhaps it’s pure anti-greenwashing “dedication”; maybe it’s just a Northern European instinct towards frankness. Either way, we appreciate the clear explanations of different certifications, as well as the pros and cons of materials such as recycled polyester. Dedicated makes almost all its clothing from natural, plant-based, or recycled materials. The brand also shares where each item is made and any related certifications. The impact report takes a look at Dedicated’s sustainable practices across the board. Prices range from $12 for socks up to $449 for outerwear, with most clothing in the range of $39–$159.
