Even if you don’t think you buy bottled water, chances are high that you do still pay for it. That’s because water is the first ingredient in most bottled shampoos, dish soaps, laundry detergents, and so much more. Enter Everist, one of Fast Company’s “10 Most Innovative Companies in North America” in 2022. The startup’s waterless shampoo, conditioner, and body wash concentrates have also won praise from Cosmopolitan, Shape, and Men’s Health. Our marketplace editor tried out the full-sized shampoo and conditioner, which come in 3.4-ounce metal tubes. While she can’t yet speak to long-term results, her initial experiences have been positive. Spreading a one-inch strip of the concentrate into your palm and mixing it with water proved pretty easy, she says. Her hair air-dried “smooth and frizz-free,” after use.
