Climate Quick Tips: Clean and Green Fruits and Veggies

Don’t just run your produce under cold water, soak it for 15 minutes in a mixture of 1:4 vinegar and water OR baking soda and water to get rid of the dirt, bugs, and pesticide residue. To avoid mushy berries, do it just before eating. It’s cheap, simple, and effective.

Store produce appropriately to keep it fresh.
