We’re excited to be offering stories of sustainability and climate action from across the country. We’re glad you’re here.

As I write this, I’m on the train to Ottawa, drinking in views of sparkling Lake Ontario, lush forests, vibrant marshes, and rushing rivers. These rails travel across the country, and all along the way, in towns and cities that dot the way, there are Canadians who are working hard to take care of their families, Canadians who want a clean, healthy world, now and into the future. We know that there are incredible things happening across the country because we have writers all over the country who have been sharing those stories with us. They introduce us to Canadians with vision for new technologies and community solutions — and with the courage and optimism it takes to make them reality — who are showing leadership at just the right time. Whether these ideas have global impact or just make the lives of their neighbours a bit better, they are the seeds that fill up our garden of hope.

While we began as Bluedot Living Toronto, sharing stories of climate solutions and changemakers in the GTA, we’re growing to cover the entire country, inviting more readers to share in our garden. By expanding our family, we hope to forge stronger connections between people in all those towns and cities who are working hard to make positive change. If you know someone like that, someone who you think would like to be connected to these stories of vision and hope, show them our website and ask them to join us for the ride. All aboard!
